Children & Young People

These churches have groups for children and young people.

Admaston

• Sunday mornings – Informal discussion and DVD studies using contemporary popular films.
• TU Saturday evenings (At Admaston House) – the 3rd Saturday of each month is for Year 6-Year 11. Different events/trips are organised each month. Normal time is 7pm 9pm, although this can vary by activity.
• Friday Night Youth Group – Age 11-15. Admaston House every other Friday (during term time) 7:30 9pm.

Bridgnorth

• Cartwheels Family Group – This takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time and is for pre-school children, their parents, grandparents and carers. It offers a caring, friendly environment with a variety of appropriate toys and creative activities. 9:30 11am.
• Little Fishes – Church for Tots – This is a monthly activity for pre-school children and accompanying adult. It is usually held on 2nd Friday of each month. Starts at 11:30 – 1:30pm. For more details please see the UR & Methodist Church, Cartway website.
• Big Fishes – Steps to Church – This is an after school activity and is for children 5-7 years with an accompanying adult and takes place monthly, usually the 2nd Thursday of the month 3:30 – 5pm.
• Even Bigger Fishes – For children aged 8-12 years. They start with toast and chat and the introduction of a theme which relates to a Bible story we all share later. A favourite activity is always cooking so after the EBFs have done their cooking they disappear upstairs into church where they pursue activities relating to the theme appropriate to their age group 8 and over. Big Fishes continue various activities downstairs before joining the EBFs upstairs for the Bible story and short worship time before going home at 5 oclock.

Dawley Christian Centre

• Stay and Play Group – Tuesday morning from 9:30-11:30am. Bring your kids along and enjoy the time playing together. Large indoor area with lots of toys. New activities every week.
• Rainbows and Brownies – Monday evenings 5-8pm.

Donnington

• Messy Church – Come and join us for Messy Church on 2nd Sunday every month between 3-5pm. A wonderful way of getting children to enjoy Church. There will be a bite to eat afterwards.

Horsehay

• Sunday Squad – Sunday morning. For children and young people of all ages meet during morning worship (except Family service) for Bible based fun activities and learning.
• Parents and Toddler Group – meets on Friday morning 10 11:30am, term time only. 2 per session includes light refreshments, art/craft activity, story/songs.
• Friday Night Youth Group – 7-8:30pm, (term time only) for ages 10-14 (approx.) 1.00 per week.

Ketley

• Parents & Toddler Group – meets every Monday and Wednesday at 9:15-11:15am (During school term time). Please contact 223275.
• Girls Brigade – meet Wednesdays at 6:15pm. (Age from 6 15 years). Contact 612015.

Oakengates

• Boys Brigade and Girls Association – group meet and belong to the Church. The group takes boys from the age of 5.5 to 18 years (school years 2-13) and boys and girls from the age of 11 to 18 years (school years 7 upwards). The BB and GA is made up of three sections Anchor Boys 5.5 to 8, Juniors 8 to 11, and Company Section 11+ (secondary age). .
• Pre-School – 9:30 am to 1:00 pm Monday to Thursday
• Parents and Toddlers Group – Friday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

• Ladybird Tots and Toddlers at Trinity – Friday mornings from 10.30-11.30 am . A friendly group for children aged 0-4 years and their parents and carers.
